The LA Times reports of how the Iraqi city of Basra has fallen into hands of radical Muslim militas.

Coming Soon--Activist News Channel?

A group of activists, including; Medea Benjamin(Code Pink), Jeff Cohen(FAIR), Amy Goodman(Democracy Now), and Greg Palast(Best Democracy Money Can Buy) are trying to create an independent, global, news network that will be free from corporate interference.

Clean-up?

I'm thinking that this site (or the links) need a spring cleaning--perhaps creating sub-areas, especially in the media section and perhaps adding a section for 'blogs.
