Delgado Stands For Peace

Common Dreams reports that Toronto Blue Jay star Carlos Delgado has added his name to the list of celebreties who oppose the Iraq war.

Delgado has been refusing to stand when "God Bless America" is played in ballparks.

As a Puerto Rican, he also has opposed the use of Viques as a bombing range.

McKinney May Be Back

Common Dreams reports that Cynthia McKinney, whose opposition to Bush and the War On Terror lead to her loss in a primary, looks to be on her way back to DC.
